ABOUT ME

I moved to Alaska from China when I was in high school. Two years later I moved to Hawaii (talking about an escape), then back to Alaska, then France. Now I finished grad school in NYC and started working as a counselor.

I sometimes think that human life itself doesn't have much meaning, but our constant struggle to make it meaningful does.

Oh, and I have chicken phobia. For real.

I really enjoy hanging out with CSers. They taught me things I've never thought of, such as new perspectives of life, love and friendship.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big movie fan. I love all kinds of movies, especially when they tell a slice of truth in any part of life.

All time favorite: Yi Yi.

For music, I love Jazz and Trip-hop.

I prefer books with a calm and realistic style. For example: Out Stealing Horses

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went fishing in Homer once and we ended up getting whole bunch of small sharks. Shark Season!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Chinese and English. I like to learn about other cultures, life styles, languages and history. I also would like to meet someone who is a native french speaker so that I can practice french.
