Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only unofficially couch surfed....when I was traveling through Africa I would sometimes find myself in a new place and either couldn't find a vacancy or didn't have enough money left to get a hotel so I met up with a lot of really cool locals who would offer to take me in for a night or two. I've met some of the coolest, friendliest people I have ever known doing this!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the coolest thing that I have seen was when I hiked a live volcano in the Congo (Mt Nyrigongo) and camped out at the top. Seeing the enormous lava lake at night was breathtaking!!!!
