Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling has always been my greatest passion. Mostly focusing on cultural experience. I try to hop from different places for a seasonal term contract to fully immerse on the local culture. As I cannot be at so many places at the same time, sometimes I can only spend a few days, rather than months, in some places. But why not making the most out of it sharing the experience with someone who lives there and have an interesting exchange? I have couch surfed a few times with my travel partner before, but missed the chance of building a reputation as we mostly used her account. This time I will be on my own and decided to make my own account. Returning home I expect to be able to host people from different countries that could also bring some interesting experiences exchange to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I often says the best music is the kind that I would listen to as background during a sunset, after a long day at the beach. Reggae, acoustic, strings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a remote location, on a diving center, for a year. Deprived of ANY phone reception, internet connection or a few other modern conveniences. Living in a former military camp, with divers from different parts of South America, in a dorm and often sleeping in hammocks. Mostly had to plant and harvest our food (other than animal protein) to feed ourselves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I mostly want to find people with whom I can share knowledge and learn from, people who have inspiring experiences and to who I can also inspire. Outgoing, laid back people. I am not a party animal and far from being one. I'm more of a daytime person.
