ABOUT ME

I enjoy life and keeping it real is my all time favorite. I am the oldest of three, and my siblings are fabulous. We don't just get along, we love each other. I have the pleasure of living and loving the most wonderful man. He is my soul-mate, and I am so fortunate that we found each other. He "gets" me, and for that, I am eternally grateful. We have two timberwolf hybrids: Bella and Murphey. I think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I enjoy hanging out with them much more than most people I encounter. I like to make jewelry and do macrame. I love growing plants and spring is my favorite season. My dream is to one day start a wolf preservation and education center in the Ozark Mountains. I can see a couple of greenhouses, a pack of wolves, and a campfire in my future. I absolutely love live music. Bluegrass is my favorite, but I will listen to anything, especially if it makes me want to dance! If there is anything that you'd like to know about me, just ask.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is meant to be enjoyed, not taken for granted or abused. Life is precious, and should be respected. I treat others as I would like to be treated. I believe that you have to appreciate the differences in people and things. While you are on this beautiful Earth, you might as well plant some seeds and sing some songs.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been passing the word along to my friends and family. I have hosted friends on my couches as long as I have been out of my parent's house. I have crashed on many couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been crashing couches as long as I've been able to drive. There is nothing like a well-worn couch and good company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dropped out of college and moved to New Hampshire for 6 months. I moved back to Arkansas and finished my degree when people doubted that I would. I work with people who have the odds stacked against them, yet they are always positive and happy to see me.

Teach, Learn, Share

You want great, southern mashed potatoes? How about some fried catfish? I got you on that. Would you like to learn some macrame knots? I can teach you that too. Do you have questions about dreadlocks, or want to start some? I can help you with that. I am looking to learn some new recipes and explore the markets of my host cities.
