About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am an Australian who has set off for 2 1/2 months of love, light, healing and happiness. Excited to be here in Barcelona as I was simply drawn here. Looking to see all that is available to enrich my life and all those around me.
ABOUT ME
I am a happy woman who loves to giggle, dance and sing ! Live music venues, especially accoustic settings make my cheeks bloom and I love looking at life through optomistic binoculars. Being around friends, having a wine or beer takes me to a gorgeous place. I also love exploring the world on my own (as I am now !) because when you do you are far more open to wanting to chat to everyone, take photos of everything you feel you would love to
PHILOSOPHY
Love openly and the world will love ya back !

Music, Movies, and Books
I just finished reading Paulo Coelho "Aleph" which was exactly perfect timing for me (about travelling, seeking to move away from what you know even if it means finding something, a discovery of a thought, a new realm of concepts that you could have found in your dreams in your very own bed. It is something many of us just have to do - leave our roots). Past lives and connections ! Great book. Also loved his "Pilgrimage" I read about 9 years ago.
Movies I love are 'Crazy Beautiful', 'Wicker Park', the childhood classic 'The Labyrinth'.
Music that tickles my fancy is The XX, The Kills, Bon Iver, Lykki Li, Kimbra, Oliver Tank, Big Scary and locals - people I have never heard of all genres: I love new music, new venues, new ideas. . A little london Band called Birling Gap I also love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I picked a mountain yesterday and said "I want to climb you to the top". It was 7.55pm and dark was soon to be approaching. Crazy maybe, but I set off along a path where I could only see footsteps up so far, then nothing but debri, but I continued walking like a little 'L' shape as the overhanging trees and shrubs were wild and curving whichever way they fancied.
I saw some gorgeous views along the way then came up to a bit where I knew that if I held onto the roots of the plants I could pull myself up, but as for getting back down, I knew once up, I could not return again.
I decided to go up and found, oh my goodness, an actually proper path ! What was I on ? (giggles...a real adventure through the forest !) I climbed up further and got to see the other side of Barcelona, away from the city inbetween gorgeous mountains - but pure mountains as the sun was settling in the sky. My god it was amazing.
I sat on an electrical tower, a few feet up to get a good view. I'm scared of heights so this was fantastic to rattle me up and get me excited & facing my fears. Wow, so beautiful.
I walked and jogged down the hills with my backpack for an hour with the fear of light fading on my mind and happiness of that of a child as I raced down, sometimes on my butt, hands behind me and feet infront, to make it faster down those incredibly steep sections between the main paths that many people have done so much so to leave a path !
Seeing a sign for 'Mundet' Metro made me smile. When I saw concrete road and cars I sighed and thought, ah, I'm so happy to see you. You wouldn't think this everyday - appreciating that which you take for granted - taking losing it to truly realise you need it. . .
Oh, what a day - twas only yesterday :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I have recently completed Reiki I and II in Bali just 2 weeks ago and would love to share this with those I meet. As with all in life, we must use what we know to consilidate it, but also to delve deeper. I was reading a book the other day, Paulo Coelho 'Aleph' and it was talking about a person holding the same job and position for years on end but each time day, each moment is a new one, even though some may see it as repetition and boredom inducing. It is all the way in which we view things and our internal optomism that leads us to the light of happiness.
I love this idea and believe strongly in it.
Sharing what I have learnt is a way of connecting to the universe and giving back to it. As without with, I feel rather disconnected and not earthed as my place on earth isn't established, rather just floating through on an individual basis. Connecting, sharing and evolving - what a perfect way to be.
