About Me
I like to think that I am a bit geeky person with an adventurous part. :)
I am open minded and easygoing person and I love expanding my horizonts by trying new things and challenges. :)
Sometimes I get the feeling that my life turns all around history, languages and culture. Because that's what I love. I work in a marvellous renaissance castle as a tourgide and currently I am working on my Bc. in a History of World's Religions.
I am a bit of a Britophile to be honest, because UK & Ireland are my top destinations to travel but besides that I like to travel anywhere. I would really love to see Siberia, Morocco and India in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Two things to be said - keeping low budget while making new friends. A great combination. :)
Interests
Travelling - obviously. History. Cooking. Languages - I am working on my arabic at the moment. :)
Irish dancing. (my newest hobby) :)
And I am a lifelong potterhead who is always hooked on some good Harry Potter fanfiction. Sometimes I even translate.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I like a lot of classics; anything by J. Austen, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Oscar Wilde's stories, Ivanhoe, Quo vadis?
and fantasy: LotR, Harry Potter...
Films: From movies I mostly enjoy: Anne and the King, The Physician, Geisha, EverAfter - basically anything that combines romance and history (I am such a girl!) :)
Music: Now that's a difficult topic. :) My taste for music varies a lot but here are some examples: 60's and 70's, Celtic music, Indie (Regina Spektor, The Civil wars...etc.), Brandi Carlile, Loreena McKennitt, and plenty other.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am not sure if that qualifies as amazing, but I have once spent a night under the stars in Tuscan woods surrounded by noisy wild boars. It was so scary! :D
But I've had the most amazing time when I worked as an au pair for a lovely Indian family in UK. (imagine - indian food every evening!) It was so great and we've become very good friends since then.
I have also seen a ghost. I'll tell you more in person ;).
