ABOUT ME

We're a fun-loving, travel-loving, food-loving couple from New Zealand! Belle grew up in Vanuatu and speaks fluent French. She wrote the "food-loving" part; do not underestimate it. We're easygoing, and we love to meet new people from all sorts of backgrounds and to discover - well - anything. We are also animal lovers - big time.

PHILOSOPHY

We're big believers in human rights, animal rights and being environmentally conscientious. We think that being treated with respect and not having your autonomy questioned are rights, not privileges.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We haven't couchsurfed just yet, but we've heard wonderful things about it, so there's always a first time!

Interests

Movies, anime, video games, books, restaurants and cafes, bookshops that have cafes in them, cafes that have bookshops in them. Also, pubs. Love pubs! Pubs with bookshops in them? That would be heaven.

We love going to concerts and live events, art gallery openings and theatre, etc.

If there's greenery or animals, we're there - botanical gardens, parks, zoos, pet shops, shelters...

We love doing a lot of things, really, and are easy to entertain. If it's on the nature/culture spectrum, we will be very happy to go there or do that or eat this.

He really wants to discover some new and interesting music. She used to hike and would like to get back into it; she also loves dancing (e.g. swing!). She's working on her drawing and painting and is very interested in movie and game concept art.

Too many things to really make a proper list, but it's a start. At any rate, if it has Bruce Willis in it it's a sure hit.

She really wants to get into Star Trek because not having seen any episodes is seriously undermining her geek cred.
