I'm currently employed as a field engineer for a small robotics company. I've also worked as a teacher. I've dabbled in circus arts and I'm trained as a yoga teacher and thai yoga bodyworker. I'm an avid gardener and I love to cook and bake.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been enjoying China Mieville and Iain M Banks. Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Anton Wilson, Tom Robbins were earlier influences on my general worldview.

Right now I'm listening to Modest Mouse. The new Immortal Technique album, Martyr is totally download worthy. I like a wide range of music from classic rock to hip hop. Admittedly most of the music I know well is modern American music. One of my housemates plays Gamelan and classical violin. My sister sings opera. My dad plays bagpipes (very well).
