ABOUT ME

I grew up hiking, backpacking and fishing in the mountains around Humboldt County. I love to backpack in the summer time. I fell in love with cycling recently and have been spending a lot of time on the bike. I been to 3 different continents though I was not able to stay as long as I had hoped.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new and haven't had anybody stay yet but am excited to start meeting people and learning about their travels. I think that this will be the best way to learn about good destinations for my next trip. Come stay on my couch or hit me up for a tour of my backyard. If the weather is good and you can spend some money on gas I can give you a personal aerial tour of Humboldt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen tens of thousands of lady bugs gather at the top of a mountain, spent weeks in the back-country, looked down from the top of the pyramids at Tikal, rafted down the Colorado River, stood on the battlegrounds at Gettysburg and I'm sure I am forgetting something.

I can teach photography, music, outdoor skills and etiquette, basic bicycle maintenance.
