Hello world!
My biggest ambition is to visit every country in the world. I am happiest when dancing or running. When I travel, I like to do what the locals do. I also prefer to be doing something productive and useful to society, for example, teaching English, helping out at an organization, participating in a cultural immersion program. When possible, I want to visit a few touristy destinations as well. I love to eat, and would be happy to share dinners at a restaurant or at home with my hosts/guests. I like to learn about the location from the local people, while I am there, so it would be great to be able to ask questions. Similarly, I welcome questions about the culture, etc. from guests. I am low maintenance and do not need much to be comfortable. I appreciate when people are willing to share their space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing to be able to travel on a budget and also to be able to make connections with people that I might not be able to make while staying in hotels. etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to decide:
-Survived Shanghai transit system without a translator and with no ability to read or understand the names of stops (was lost for 45 minutes!)
-Went running on the Malecon in Cuba with no map, ran from our Air BnB on instructions from the host and eventually found the Malecon and made friends along the way. I even bought myself some water from a shop I found on the way home.
-Totally loved a 10-day vipassana meditation silent retreat in Jessup Georgia, United States

Teach, Learn, Share

Board games, cultures, English (if you wish), basic salsa dance, basic bachata, walks, hikes, conversation, meals (I can prepare a meal)
