I’m a 19 year old guy, studying physics with astrophysics. I had a brilliant experience travelling for a year, and now want to continue to offer the blessing forward that is couchsurfing. I enjoy expanding my perspectives of the world and meeting people of all types. I believe everyone has something interesting and important to say and love to talk with others to find out what their thing is. If you are coming to stay with me, I would like to spend some time with you (obviously not the whole duration of your visit, however) Do not expect to come and stay with me and just leave to visit friends elsewhere.

I’m currently in my first year or uni in Glasgow. This year I am staying in halls, and happen to be at the largest and busiest (in terms of parties). If you are looking to go out for the evening, I can promise you will find people. Sometimes however, I take an evening off and if I’m free would be happy to explore the nearby parks or west end.

I love climbing and outdoor sports/activities generally. After initially falling in love with indoor bouldering I started outdoor climbing whilst living in a van with my partner and began to realise the climbing community are some of the best people around. Since then I’ve climbed all along the Balkan coast and also volunteered as a climbing guide for a week in Vietnam :) If you are also a climber and/or outdoor enthusiast or have some interest in it, we’ll probably get along and hopefully we can climb/walk/camp together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couch surfing because I hope it can give me a more unique experience travelling and really see how people live in countries I’m visiting. I am also very exited to meet people who might host me and talk about any topic they may want to talk about.

I love music and reading, all music from Jazz to modern metal. I mostly like reading non-fiction on all topics from philosophy to science to spirituality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Until corona killed my passion for it, I was a sprinter and have had 3 national finals and once came joint 3rd at youth British national champs.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some guitar, and if you already play it would be wonderful to jam with you! I can also teach some basics of sewing or embroidery, I always have a small kit with me :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can play guitar and enjoy cooking, I would be more than happy to cook you a meal or two. I am also very interested in just about any topic you can talk about and love to engage in conversation.
