About Me
Hey there,
I'm an ordinary guy trying to live life simple and with eyes open for the little things. For me traveling is a big and important part of life, because it is minimalistic and gives me a feeling of freedom.
I made my college-degree in 2011 and after that I worked as a gardener, a postman and a student assistant.
In 2013 I travelled to the USA , hiked the Appalachian Trail for two months and spent the four other months living and working on this beautiful farm with some amazing folks: http://bethlehemfarm.net/
Currently I'm studying at the university of Bonn. My field of study is Science of Asia with the focus on Mongolia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm was inspired by travelers from all over the world, those who I met on the road or online. This is how I heard about couchsurfing and I like the idea a lot! It gives us the opportunity to meet people from the other end of the world and listen to their stories. And also, during my journeys in Scottland and the USA I've learned how much it can mean to a traveler, if you take him in and provide shelter and food. Both these journeys would've been half as exciting and awesome without all these nice hosts that I met and who took me in or just shared a meal with me. I want to give this present back to other people - people who bring an open mindset and some good stories into my life.
