Im Ben, Im a student from Houston, Texas and now live in North Carolina, USA. I have a great passion for traveling and in my opinion it’s the best investment anyone could have! So far I’ve been to 22 countries and hope to make that number grow in the near future. I enjoy exploring different cultures and being immersed in them. I’m also always up to try new foods, and going for drinks at the good local bars and lounges when I can afford to :) I also love to cook, but I’m also very cleanly and respectful of peoples space and belongings, and would love to surround myself with people who are similar to me in those aspects. I look forward to meeting and becoming friends with interesting people who can help me better understand their language and culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to try out couch surfing because it was recommended to me by several friends I’ve made while traveling and staying in hostels. I’ve always heard it was a great way to meet and become friends with locals and get to experience their cities the local way instead of the generic touristic way.
