Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on a study program about how modern Italy is reacting and adapting to American culture, especially Halloween. I'm writing a paper/book on how modern Italians feel about American culture, how it has impacted their lives, and anything else they want to share. The concept is pretty loose and includes sections of whatever adventures we go on or stories we share. However, anything you don't want included is included. So I would love to meet you!

Interests

Long boarding (if you have one, we should totally go skating), writing, urban exploring, photography, reading, watching movies, meeting people, hiking, nature, and doing whatever the world wants me to do. I enjoy performing in all of its different forms. I enjoy acting, performing stand up comedy, storytelling, and reading poetry/prose.

Music, Movies, and Books

Daft Punk, The Gorillaz, Kanye West, Major Lazer, Childish Gambino, the Black Keys, Phoenix, Beck and Daft Punk are always playing at my house.
I absolutely love books and movies, so I studied them for my college degrees. Some books that have have had a major impact on me are The Count of Monte Cristo, Catch-22, and Dune. The spice must flow.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is excellent. I love Crazy Stupid Love, District 9, About Time, Terminator 2, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, and just about every other movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've partied with Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg, although Snoop left early.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English or Spaniah as well as some American Sign language. I can play the drums alright, but if you have a drum, you can probably play better than me. I have black belts in two forms of Tae Kwon Do, so I can show some self defense. I am also an okay cook, but I learned how to cook in Italy four years ago, so you might not be surprised by pasta. I was a state champion in storytelling in high school, so I can perform some really goofy stories. I usually need a drink first though.

What I Can Share with Hosts
