Overview
About Me
I finished a work contract June 2015, sold-gave away-trashed all my belongings except for my bike, tent and some clothes. Now my life is on the road.
I am riding my bike across a chunk of the world, mostly from Beijing to London, with a few detours here and there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am very new to couch surfing, but I hope it gives me an opportunity to experience a culture better. In hostels you meet some interesting people but you are all experiencing a culture from the same perspective. In a hotel you are separated completely. So I hope couch surfing is something more than all of that.
Plus I love the awkwardness of trying to not be a bother to someone who is nice enough to let me stay.
Interests
Too many to really cover in this section and they change all the time.
For now, I am traveling the world on my bicycle with a ukulele, a tiny chess board and worn hiking boots, these are enough interests for now .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many things and yet so few, but definitely trekking over the 5460m Thorung pass in the Himalayas is a recent and super memorable achievement.
Teach, Learn, Share
I live and travel to learn, teach me to dance, sing, cook, speak a language or none of those things. And I can try to teach you any of those things, but I am a bit shy at first.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beyond some good stories I love to cook, Australia doesn't have any national dishes so I cook lots of stuff, I would be happy to cook for you.
