I want to experience as much of the outdoor world as I can and meet radical people along the way.

I worked with Americorps NCCC as a Corps Member for 5 months in 2011, did the Backcountry Trails Program with the California Conservation Corps in 2015, was an Instructional Assistant at the Bloomington Project School from 2014 to 2016, completed a year as a Team Leader in Americorps NCCC from 2017 to 2018, was a Wilderness Ranger Intern in Klamath National Forest in the Summer of 2018. I have also worked with several organic farms and intentional communities, have lived in a couple student cooperatives, and have volunteered with the Hoosier National Forest as a Wildland Firefighter.

I am now working as a tennis professional and tennis store manager in Portland, OR.

I want to understand what makes a community successful as well as confront my concerns about how work, play, and education can more effectively address people's needs and interests, especially youth.
