I grew up in the UK but moved to Australia 14 and a bit years ago....I've travelled a lot and continue to spend time in Asia and the US regularly. I'm a really open and genuine person (as just described to me by my house mate!) and a welcoming host that is eager to hear your stories.

I love to cook, I like a drop or two of wine, something to smoke, good conversation, intelligent opinions that I don't agree with, humour and a cheeky smile. I've tried hard to keep my sense of wonder of the world and all the people on it...

I'm a people person, I love company, love meeting new people and having mad conversations - nothing brings me more joy than two people from the opposite side of the world who have an instant connection and stuff in common.

I've been aware of this site for quite a while and it's been suggested to me several times that I should host - I'm really laid back, don't do stress much and have a lot of stories and conversation to share.

Interests

music of (almost) all types, going out, staying in, making candles (I know, that surprised me too) and food/wine type stuff. Cooking is a big thing for me - I'll cook if you wash up :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After somehow managing to live through my 20's, every morning I wake up as the father of two incredible children is a pretty amazing experience. I've lived a very rich and full life and have been blessed to have experienced many amazing things that I'm not going to list in an attempt to win your favour :) Come and ask me your self.

Teach, Learn, Share

I arrived in Sydney the day the Olympics started, so I've been the new person and have developed a deep understanding of Australia and Australians, god bless them :) This is without question one of the finest paces to live in the world; the food, the beaches, the harbour.... I'm pretty social so know the bars, clubs and restaurants quite well too. I can teach you all about Australian history, particularly Sydney and the surrounding areas and give you some context and a good lense to experience Sydney through.
