Hi, my name is Ben Evans! I do not like labels or titles, I just am. However, in the interest of this endeavor...I am the founder & executive editor of the international arts review, "Fogged Clarity" (http://foggedclarity.com), a contributing writer for "The Huffington Post": http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ben-evans/, a published poet, and a technical writer for a firm in NYC (though I write remotely).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people & experiences: walks, lights, smells, conversations, wine, cuisine, life. I get on quite well with both. I recently moved to the South, though I had my reservations about its cultural history (over those, love almost everyone) and am ready to dig in and meet some cool folks and see some cool stuff. I have a lot to contribute.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some find it amazing that I was the starting fullback for a Division 1 football team (Colgate University) and also earned an MFA in Poetry from one of the top Creative Writing Programs in the country. Life is amazing.
