I'm a back-porch-mellow kind of guy, always down for an adventure and getting out and seeing the world. I would rather spend an evening in good company sharing stories around a bonfire than just about anything else. In the Summer, you can generally find my doing just that back home in Alaska. The rest of the year; your guess is as good as mine!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to organized couch surfing. But I have been known to ask a friend for a place to stay in the past and my friends, I'm sure, would tell you I do what I can to help them out as well and to give people who need a place to stay the best place possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed by the general understanding of the word for years. I have in the past met "couchsurfers" from the site who have stayed with my friends at various points and places and they all seem to enjoy it. I think this is a very good resource for those who use it with respect.

Interests

I love traveling from place to place and I'm not usually in any kind of rush. I enjoy watching the world go by. Not much for flying... a hike? Sure. Roadtrip? Definately!
In a perfect world I am never very far from my beloved "gut bucket"... is it a bucket? or is it a bass? If there are any guitar players/banjos/mandolins around then we will get along just fine!
I'm always interested in seeing new things, meeting new people in new places, and comparing our ideas about the world...
Me encanta viajar de un lado a otro y no suelo tener ninguna prisa. Me gusta ver el mundo que me rodea. Me gustan los medios de transporte que me dejan ver el mundo. Un vuelo en avion, no gracias... Un camino. Si, claro. Viaje en coche...vámonos ya!!!
En un mundo perfecto, mi querido "balde de tripas" nunca está lejos de mi. Pero ¿que es un "balde de tripas"?? Es un balde???...o un bajo??? Pues si hay alguna guitarra/banjo/mandolina por ahí, ya veremos.
Siempre me interesa ver a cosas nuevas, conocer a gente nueva en sitios nuevos, y comparar nuestras ideas sobre el mundo que nos rodea.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every Summer, at the end of July, my small Alaskan town has a fair that brings people from all over. This past year I looked out across the yard and between the garden and the apple and cherry trees and could help but smile as I counted them all...17 tents!!! Such a gathering of friends and good people. Such good times. I love being able to bring the people I love together like that. There is something right in my life!!
Cada verano, a finales de Julio, mi pueblito en Alaska tiene un festival que atrae a mucha gente de sitios diferentes. Este ultimo verano, cuando echaba una vista al terreno y entre la huerta y los cerezos y el manzano, tenia que sonreir mientras contaba... había unas 17 tiendas de acampar!!! Tanta buena gente y buenos amigos por todos lados. Qué buenos tiempos! Me encanta poder juntar a la gente que amo de esa manera. Al menos, algo está correcto en mi vida!!
