I'm a graduate student who misses traveling! Currently living in beautiful Vancouver, BC. I'm studying intercultural theology. I love being outdoors - hiking, camping, swimming, skiing. I also enjoy playing soccer. One of my favourite things about Vancouver is the range of amazing ethnic restaurants available.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people, traveling to new places, and getting to know places through the eyes of the people who actually live there. I've stayed on a lot of couches in my life and always been blessed by the hospitality of strangers.

Interests

Anything outdoors and reading! In the winters, cross-country skiing. Summers - mountain biking and hiking. Year round - running and cycling. When it's too cold, dark, or rainy (much of the time here!) I like to read or play games.

Movies - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Most recently, The Imitation Game. The Planet Earth series.
Books - so many, it's hard to choose. Marilynne Robinson is one of my favourite authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and retrieved a small weather station from the top.
