Origianlly from Southern California, I came to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley, and over the years have transformed into a modern hippie-ish spiritual heart-centered dancer being. I seek connection and growth. I aspire to live out a life of heart-centered consciousness. I like to see the good in myself and others. I'm perceptive, thoughtful, caring, shy at first, and then sometimes very silly.

In the short term, I need a place to stay while visiting Portland for a retreat(!), with an extra day on either side to explore the city. Looking at the year ahead, I think the period of travel I've been hoping to have has finally arrived :) So, the journey has to begin somewhere.

In the current era, which admittedly I think is on it's way to the next thing, Ive been listening to Ray LaMontagne, Michael Jorgenson, Across the Universe, and various indie dance artists and stations. Throw in a little Michael Jackson for kicks, and chakra balancing radio when it's time to soothe. When I've been in a rock mood, one of my favorites is Phantom Planet self-titled.

Currently reading Autobiography of a Yogi by Swami Togananda Paramhansa. Uplifting, nourishing.
