About Me
I caught the travel bug in 2013 when I studied abroad in America for a semester. After that trip I was waiting for the next opportunity for a big adventure, which happened in 2015 when I was offered by the university to travel to Africa to teach English. After 3 weeks of teaching, I travelled to another 6 countries throughout the continent over the space of 2 and a half months.
I have now started another adventure by taking the year off from work to travel, backpack and see as much of the world as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing for the obvious fact of cutting costs while travelling for a full year. I also love meeting locals and finding the best things to do in a city, not just the highest rated by other tourists!
When I return home to Australia, I hope to repay the favour if anyone needs a place to stay!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed in poverty in Ghana for 3 weeks while teaching English. An experience that I will never forget and made me very grateful for the life I am lucky enough to live.
