I am a very easy going and fun student from Melbourne, Australia. I'm in my final year of university and am finishing my degree on exchange in Austria for one semester. I have travelled a fair bit already and you could say I have the 'travel bug'! I love making new friends and having good chats over a couple of drinks and good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am doing a study abroad semester in Austria as well as doing some travel on the side. I spent four months backpacking around Europe in 2013 as well as 5 weeks this summer. I love Europe and am always on the look out to explore even more places.

What I loved most about my backpacking experience was being able to meet new people and make new connections from all around the world. I'd loved to be shown around a new city by a local and especially be taken to the secretly amazing food places and bars that tourists would never find! I hate the standard tourist tracks :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered in a primary school in Kenya which my high school had helped raise money for back in Aus. It was awesome to see how much these kids loved being at school and made me very greatful for what I have.

I'd be happy to cook for my hosts! As well as always being up for a chat over a drink or two. I'd love to hear where they've been and what they've seen and share my experiences in return.
