I have been travelling on and off with life and work for about 10 years. I would like to host people at some point in the future but being on the move all the time at the moment with no proper, permanent location makes that a bit difficult right now.

I am a filmmaker focusing primarily on my hobbies, which are mostly boardsports and biking. Eventually my hobby of filmmaking and photography became my job.

I like trying to speak different languages - some I am reasonably good at (German, Norwegian), others I am terrible at but enjoy trying!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like visiting new cities and locations but always enjoy the perspective of locals and seeing a location in a different light, I find this much more interesting than meeting other holidaymakers or travellers in hostels and hotels.

I haven't used Couchsurfing before but have always enjoyed meeting friends of friends and so on and staying new places in this way. Or seeing places I already know in a different way with some local knowledge and insight!
