Overview
About Me
I am generally a very positive person. I always trying to see the good side of situations and give people the benefit of the doubt. I believe that empathy is one of the most important concepts to practice and I always try to consider the depth of someone's situation.
I am a photographer and I love being one! I have experience shooting concerts, weddings, portraits and artwork. I am currently trying to push my career towards international documentary work and I am working on my portfolio. Check out my website:
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. I am new to Couchsurfing but it seems like a fantastic way to do this.
I just completed a year as an English teacher in Korea. Now I am traveling through Asia, photographing the people and the places. I am specifically looking to photograph interesting stories of culture and people. I feel that documenting life is incredibly important in sharing the world with others and helping each other learn. If you have any stories, people, ideas, or information to share with me, I would be very appreciative.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is the fuel for my soul!I listen to many types of music, especially rock and hip hop. I'm always interested in hearing new stuff. Some well-known artists who frequent my headphones are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, John Butler Trio, Alt-J, Tame Impala, Brother Ali, Zion I, Atmosphere, Sweatshop Union, Beastie Boys, Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, Widespread Panic, Modest Mouse.
Paulo Coehlo has been a long time favorite author. Lately I've been reading Joseph Campbell. I enjoy many genres, but generally read philosophical and spiritual books as I am always interested in people who have intentionally studied life and have an deeper understanding of their own.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My entire life has been one amazing trip, but here are a few exciting highlights:
Eight day wilderness whitewater expedition down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho, USA. Class IV and V rapids, natural hot springs, and great people!
Skiing bottomless powder in Nozawa Onsen, Japan.
Skydiving - if I had more time and money I would become an addict.
