Hello! I'm Ben. I'm from the UK. I'm new to couchsurfing but it sounds like a good way to meet people and explore new places. I'm taking a break from the 9-5 office job so that I can go travelling; it's well overdue! Before working as a designer in the construction industry I was a gardener & landscaper - and to be honest, I'd much rather be working out in the fresh air. Actually, I'm happy to spend most of my free time outside too! I do like the indoors as well though; there's nothing better than spending the evening in a cosy pub after a long day hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a trip to Canada and the US this winter (my first solo trip) and it would be really nice to meet some friendly people on my travels. I'm an easygoing, outdoorsy person who likes trying out new things. Ideally I would like to spend time with people - maybe going out exploring - and in return I'll try my best to provide some good company :) and obviously return the favour should you ever need a place to stay or a friendly face in the UK.
