Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Ben, and I'm a Midwesterner. It's cheap to live here, so that has afforded me the privilege to get my fix of beautiful landscapes thru travel. I'm like many millennials- I find value in experiences. I tend to gravitate toward people that can tell me incredible things they've done and what they've learned from it. What better way to continue that lifestyle than Couchsurfing?!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My best friend has couch surfed all over the world and she recommended it as a way to get an intimate and personal feel for where you're staying. We couch surfed a couple of times while we were in San Francisco, and I really enjoyed the experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently going thru an existential phase- lots of Sartre, Kafka, Camus, etc. Also I'm a lover that dreary Russian lit. My favorite book is the Bros. Karamazov. I like a wide range of music- from hip-hop to alt rock. I love being introduced to new, great music. People I've met have largely helped develop my taste in music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a road trip across Iceland and camped on a plateau on the east coast. Incredible!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sports medicine/Exercise science. Possibly returning to get a masters in Public Health.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am always open to conversation and allowing myself to be open to new experiences. My city is quaint, and I think that's its appeal! I know a lot of great hole in the wall places to hang and get drinks, eat, dance, whatever. I'm also very active, so I'm always down to get up and moving!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, England, France, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland
