Overview
About Me
My name's Ben! I work for Gallup in Omaha, NE and love traveling and new experiences. I'm passionate, easy to talk to, and love a good time. Connecting with others is awesome! I'm very easy going, I love to try new things, food, drinks, and I'm pretty independent, but I love my family and friends to the moon and back. I love spontaneity and encourage anyone to throw ideas at me of what I should do! I probably love laughing more than anything else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People are AMAZING. We are all so weird and cool, and all I want to do is make as many friends as possible.
The idea of meeting travelers just like myself, passionate about languages and cultures, is also the focal point. Whether friendships last a minute, hour, or lifetime, they're worth pursuing.
Interests
I love to read, listen to music, and talk for hours on end. I love food, and trying new culinary things. I really enjoy hiking and recreational sports, especially volleyball. I love teaching and I love people in general.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently in love with Léon, Noah Kahan, SZA, and Ariana Grande. I love pop, R&B, folk, all of it!
My favorite book of all time is the Kite Runner (Les Cerf-Volants de Kaboul). It's an amazing story and it never fails to grip and surprise me every time. I like books that make me thing the characters are real, so "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and "The Power of One" are amazing, as well as fantasy-fiction like Harry Potter. I love dystopian novels like Brave New World and 1984.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Other than leading some rather successful charity projects for animals as well as people in need, I would say sitting on a cliff in the Atlantic Ocean for a few hours was an incredible experience. I got to step away from the rest of the world and just think about the massive but tiny world in which we live.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think it's refreshing to meet someone young with an open mind who's also willing to challenge as much as they absorb!
