G'day, My name is Ben, in 22 and I'm from Adelaide, Australia. I'm currently back home saving up for my next adventure . Here I work at a cinema/restaurant at the bar as well as go to University. I'm my spare time I'm Scout which often takes me rock climbing, kayaking, bushwalking and camping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've often traveled when I was younger with my parents, and most of what we did was "touristy" things. I'm keen to meet people, how they live and pick up some stories along the way (I'll happily exchange some of my own)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (not the hobbit), Star Wars, most of the new Marvel movies, Ex Machina, Pirates of the Caribbean, Moon, The Martian just to name a few...
Music - no particular genre, Anything from Frank Sinatra, Queen, The Beatles, AC/DC, Jimmy Barnes, Jet, John Farnham, Michael Jackson, Music form Moulin Rouge, Les Miserables, Sound of Music and was as orchestrals scores to some of the movies above
Books - the "tomorrow" series, Once by Morris Gleitzman, The Hobbit and many more (strangely drawing a blank - will add more as I think.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to narrow it down, but I think travelling around Europe for two months on my own has to take the cake. Got to meet so many amazing people - both through couchsurfing and having conversations with random people along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a scout, so if your keen to get outdoors, I can arrange something with some notice (maybe rock climbing on real rock if your lucky). As for learning, I'm alway interested to hear any and all stories, jokes, puns and lessons learned the hard way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well I've got a couple of great stories (and truly terrible jokes) to share from traveling. I can cook (though it's usually nothing special) and clean up afterwards. If you happen to have a piano, I used to play a lot and still have a few things I can show off with.
