Overview
About Me
I am a Canadian ex-pat living in New York City doing his PhD who loves road tripping! I love New York City, but sometimes need to get away from the billions of tonnes of concrete to a place with a little more green! Couchsurfing is a great way to escape and meet cool folks in cool places.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because of an amazing experience I had in Austin. Couchsurfing with a local is always a much better time than seeing a city or town as a tourist
Interests
I'm an avid musician and collector of musical instruments. I love history, mythology, reading, playing and listening to music, and of course, travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into all genres of music, but particularly classic rock (60s and 70s), old school hip hop, and Motown.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2015, while couchsurfing and AirBNBing with some friends across the Southwest, we crashed in a cabin in the middle of some West Texas Salt Flats and hiked the tallest mountain in the State of Texas (Guadalupe Mountain).
Teach, Learn, Share
My tremendously applicable skillset is that I've been taking Latin for six years or so. If you want me to translate a state motto or some ancient inscription you have lying around, I'm your guy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cam promise some kind of "thank you" gift when I check in.
