Hey ! My name is Ben, I'm 32 and I'm a French traveler ! I travel all across Europe, with my girlfriend Lisa, to meet people and discover new places. It means that I can't host anyone right now, I'm sorry !

I started to travel a few years ago, backpacking across Europe without any tent or sleeping bag and it was a wonderful experience !

I don't travel to spend my money into touristic things, even if I sometimes enjoy visiting museums and monuments, that's not what I'm looking for right now. I travel mostly to meet people, to make new friends around the world, exchange with them and have fun ! So let's meet !

Lisa and I are really different in our way of traveling. One is the kind of people who organize a lot, who wants to see everything and is afraid to miss something, the other is more the kind to improvize and go with the flow ! So we constantly try to adapt to each other, to find the balance :)

I'm not much of a religious man, but I deeply believe in some Force guiding me. There is no such thing as luck, I'm always where I have to be. My philosophy is the following : "Everything will always be fine". Once you accept that, nothing can scare you anymore !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, I would say I'm on Couchsurfing because it's easier than stopping a random guy on the streets to ask him if I can sleep on his couch ;)

Jokes aside, CS is the best way to meet people when you're on a trip in my opinion. There is an incredible mutual help on this app, people I met so far are so kind and generous, I'm still surprised and I guess I'll always be.

I can't wait to come back home and give back what I received. No need to say that everyone who hosts me will always be welcome in my house, anytime and as long as they want to.

兴趣

I listen to music all the time. I mean, seriously, ALL THE TIME. I also sing, dance and play sometimes ! Music is life !

I write since I'm 9 in some sort of a personal journal. And as it wasn't enough I also write in a blog now.

I also climb in climbing rooms for three years now. I used to work in a climbing room, where I discovered how great this sport is !

But my number one passion is to meet new people and get to know them ! That's the main reason why I'm traveling , I really want to make some new friends. I love to exchange with people, on many differents topics.

Well, I grew up with Harry Potter, I'm probably the person who knows the most about it that you will ever meet in your entire life.

I also love every Jim Carrey's movies, this guy is unbelievable whatever he's doing.

But my all time favorite movie is a movie from my childhood, I watched it a hundred times and could watch it a hundred more, it's "Hook" with Robin Williams. It never gets old.

About series, I loved Breaking Bad (even if it's over, still in my heart) and The Walking Dead series for example. But once again, the very first one on my list is... How I Met Your Mother ! I'm a huuuge fan, I know every episode like no one, I used to watch it repetively for years ! Sorry for Friends fans, How I Met is clearly better ;)

About books, I loved every Jack London book I read so far. But my favorite book of all time is The Ice People by Barjavel.

I live everyday this great adventure. Traveling is one of my passions and I try to be respectful with people I meet and with the planet I'm on. I sometimes feel like a child, looking all around him all the time, always amazed by any little thing.

I would gladly teach you some French if you want ! Dirty words are included in the package, of course.

I can give you some cooking lessons as well. First lesson : you need water to cook pasta. It seems obvious, but some people, when they are 8, home alone and hungry, can actually make the mistake...

Thanks to the high amount of parties I went to, I know many drinking games. But I absolve myself of all responsibility regarding the turn of events.

Also, I whistle like no one else. Hey, to each his talent, right ?
