Resumen
Sobre mí
Hey there! I’m Ben – back on Couchsurfing to meet new people, exchange culture and languages, and learn more about this amazing world we live in.
I discovered Couchsurfing nearly two years ago while traveling through Oceania. I spent 10 months on a working holiday in New Zealand, followed by 3 months in Australia, and then explored Southeast Asia for another 6 months.
My first Couchsurfing experience was in Sydney—and I was hooked from the start. The connections, conversations, and cultural exchanges were exactly what I had been looking for. Traveling solo never felt lonely thanks to the amazing people I met along the way.
Right now, I’m traveling again for the next two months and looking forward to continuing my Couchsurfing journey—hopefully with you!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I used Couchsurfing for three months while I was in Australia and was honestly blown away by the hospitality I received. I met incredible people and even made some lifelong friends along the way.
I truly believe that no one can show you a place better than the locals who live there. They know the culture, the hidden spots, and the real vibe of a city. Couchsurfing lets you dive deeper into a destination—and that’s exactly why I love it so much.

Música, películas y libros
I have to admit—I tend to prioritize audiovisual media over reading. I’m really into podcasts and usually have one playing while I’m on the move. My top picks are usually about football (huge fan!), true crime, and mindfulness. Always open for recommendations or to swap favorites with fellow podcast lovers!
Algo increíble que he hecho
I’ve had quite a few unforgettable experiences while traveling, but if I had to pick one, it would be a 12-day road trip along the Stuart Highway, straight through the heart of the Australian outback. I was lucky enough to meet a local who offered to host me in his caravan for the entire journey. We built a great connection, shared stories, and explored some of the most remote and stunning landscapes I’ve ever seen. That trip really reminded me of how powerful human connection can be—especially when you’re out in the middle of nowhere.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I’d say I’ve got a good sense of humor and love sharing a laugh with people. I’m absolutely open-minded and enjoy exchanging stories and experiences. I also love cooking, so I’d be happy to share a dinner with you—and who knows, we might even swap a few cooking skills along the way.
And of course, I’m willing to share pretty much everything I’ve got in my backpack (within reason, of course)! 🤭😊
