I quit my job to travel the world. I've been traveling for over a year through Asia and am having the time of my life.

I was in tech sales for 10 years in San Francisco, CA, USA and had what would look to be the perfect life: good career, rent controlled apartment in downtown SF with panoramic views, a big circle of friends, a caring relationship -- but it wasn't enough. I had an urge to see the world and so I gave it all up to see the world and learn more about myself.

I am on a mission to develop myself as a person, see the sights I want to see and grow spiritually so that I will be ready to someday go back to the USA and settle down. ...Someday, but not too soon. ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My father's mother was Iraeli so I would like to learn more about the people since I've never been and get a feel for my roots.

Couchsurfing is also more economic than a hotel and is a new experience to meet local people vs just the same hostel crowd

I love all kinds of music: electronic, new rock, top 40, classic rock, you name it. I am listening to a lot of Passenger lately.

I am reading a lot of Paulo Coehlo books I just downloaded. I try to read local books about the countries I'm in so I just finished up a couple on India (Shantaram, White Tiger). I read a lot of books about personal growth as well.

I try to download all the latest movies. I'm also guilty of tv shows like Game of Thrones, Survivor, Silicon Valley, Falling Skies and Girls.
