Hey! I’m Ben, I’ve been known as “the traveler” in my family these past couple years. I recently got started on Couchsurfing and my travel journey. My biggest goal is to travel the world, as I love hiking mountains, looking around at nature, eating different foods, vlogging my travel journey and posting it to YouTube, learning about the culture of different countries, and making new friends! I don’t like drinking, smoking, and late night partying.

If you are in Charlotte and looking for a host, I will not be available to accommodate at this time… BUT I can show you around my beautiful city, take you to my favorite local restaurants, hike Crowders Mountain, or anything else you’re curious about doing in Charlotte. So if you’re interested, feel free to request :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pop and hip hop music! Avicii was one of a kind and will always be my favorite. I even have some of his unreleased music 🤫

I don’t watch movies very often as I have a very short attention span, but The Pursuit of Happyness really touched and inspired me to do what I’m most passionate about. Mr. Bean’s Holiday is always fun to watch! I’m also watching Élite, to help me with my fluency/conjugation in Spanish.

I (kinda) love reading books, in English and Spanish, about personal finance and how to be the best version of myself (or, I try to read books haha). I have a travel journal too, where I write down every travel story I have!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning advanced level Spanish now, so I can teach you some Spanish. I also started to learn Portuguese recently, and soon to be learning French, (probably) as I’d love to speak at least 4 languages fluently in the future! I’m a nerd for learning different languages.

I really enjoy teaching English to non native speakers and I love exchanging travel stories! If you want, I can show you my YouTube channel along with how I film/edit my videos.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing my travel experiences and showing people what life is like in America! I’ve been to 44 countries, so I definitely have an interesting travel story or two to share. Spain, Brazil, and Turkey are top 3 favorites.

I can also pay for your food at a restaurant and buy you a grocery or two if you’re running low :)
