I grew up in Pinckney, Michigan, USA and attended Michigan State University from 2009 to 2015, graduating cum laude with degrees in history and secondary education. Grad school is in the future at some point, but there are Things To Do before then.

I am easygoing and I've been told I'm a good conversationalist. Someone called me witty once but then they ran away so I'm not sure who it was or if they had the right person.

Heavy metal is the core of my musical preference, but I also love hip hop and bluegrass. When it comes to movies and TV, the nerdier the better. Even with my history degree I could probably tell you more about the history of Westeros than of North America. Doctor Who is one of the best shows ever created.

Cormac McCarthy is my favorite author, bar none. Vladimir Nabokov is a solid second, though.

Worked two jobs, took five classes, maintained an active social life, and received a 3.8 GPA for two consecutive semesters. I could make a list for you of how this differs from an ice pick lobotomy, but there wouldn't be enough items on the list to justify its existence.
