Hey! I'm Ben (or Bensi if you prefer), hailing from Brunswick, Germany. My passion lies in exploring new horizons through travel, connecting with people, and immersing myself in diverse experiences. Cooking is a delightful pursuit of mine, and indulging in good coffee brings me immense joy. I have good practice in problem-solving and I'm always ready to lend a helping hand.

I embrace an open-minded approach to life, eagerly seeking new adventures and relishing the opportunity to savor a wide array of culinary delights, preferably vegan options. Being an intersectional feminist, I recognize my privileges and actively engage in self-reflection to broaden my perspectives on life, our planet, and all living beings.

Wherever I go, my trusty camera accompanies me, capturing short films and photographs of people, adorable dogs, and even dystopian places. More often than not, I traverse the world on my vintage motorcycle, which has served me faithfully for over 15 years, or I embark on memorable journeys with my bicycle. Experiencing the world on a bike offers an indescribable connection to the environment, engaging all senses and heightening awareness of the surroundings.

So if you wanna hang out, cook, explore or just provide some place to sleep (floor is okay too) you made a person very happy :) long conversation and storytelling included.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing what you have with people you don´t know (yet).
nothing is worse, than being in a place you don´t know, without anywhere to stay or communicate. Traveling the world and getting in touch with other travelers and locals is my favorite way to experience live on this beautiful planet. Until now, all People I met through CS were People I won't forget. I thank you and this community, I owe you a lot :) I'm not looking for a free bed or just a place to sleep! I want to meet people, share experience and time. I love to go out with you, to your favorite spot in your town, or just hang at your place and talk/cook for hours :). I'm aware of my privileges and try to be as mindful as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1100km Motorcycle Trip from Bielefeld to Bodensee (Switzerland). 14h total in just 1 day. I learned al lot about myself, my bike and that you're never alone, even in the worst situations. Stupid and spontaneous Idea without any pre-planing. But I do not regret it and enjoyed every minute.
