Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My roommate in Oakland recently had a friend over that was on a year long trip around the world by herself. I had never heard of couchsurfing. She told all these amazing stories of people that she had been able to meet through the service. I really like the getting the local perspective of places I visit. It also makes dreams more affordable.
