Hi! My name is Ben. I grew up in Ann Arbor Michigan where I have lived my whole life. Although I am a seasoned hitch hiker, I am finally hoping to move away and not come back. This is not my first time surfing here, the first time was an absolutely eye opening and life changing experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first experience surfing was summer of 2013. I hitch hiked from Ann Arbor all the way to L.A. and back. I was amazed by the kindness of strangers and the incredible new things I experienced just by opening myself up to them.

Now, I am looking to move to California, probably bay area or San Diego. I am moving on very little money, so I am looking to surf around a while while I look for work. I can offer work around your house, I love to cook! I really just want to meet new people and once again open myself up to the possibilities that the universe can provide me.
