我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Today I went for a run to a reservoir across town. It was sunny when I left but by the time I got to the banks of the water a shroud of long, black clouds had drifted over the sky. Though it was only three o'clock it looked like twilight. I sat at the edge of the reservoir, looking at the water as storm winds began to pick up. The winds blew like a hurricane and patterns whipped, flew, and twirled around on the glassy surface like invisible water skiers. Soon the rain came and, though the water was cold, I jumped in. Beautiful day. Cold run home.
