Hi!

My name is Ben, I'm a Belgian guy with a strong interest in traveling for the thrill of it. Nothing is more exciting than to experience other cultures, meet plenty of people and enjoying life in another country.

In March 2016 I left Belgium to travel to Australia. Left Australia for the United States and arrived in Canada after a year on the road.
Now I'm back in europe and love to travel to my own back yard.

As I moved out of my apartment back home I can't host at the moment. Nevertheless I'd love to meet people in all the places I visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experience was with a friend. We travelled from Rovaniemi, Finland to Tromso, Norway by car. In Tromso we slept at a couple who met during their travel and had so much fun stories. It was my first couchsurfing experience and it made me decide to do it more.

There has been only good experiences ever since. Couchsurfing is a great way to see a city from a locals perspective which is the best way to get to know it.

Interests

Music is everything, it makes a mood, breaks a bad day, get you to smile all day long and let you relax. Combine it with a good book and you can travel everywhere with your imagination.
I studied photography and like to see what creative people make.

With a broad taste it's hard to find 1 favourite. I really enjoyed into the wild, a book that goes about how experiences are more important than possessions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My road trip from Rovaniemi to Tromso was so unexpected beautiful. It made me fall in love for Scandinavia.

I can share you my knowledge of technology, teach a little bit of my languages. I'd love to learn other languages as well.
