Since graduating university in 2014, my girlfriend Steph and I hitchhiked across Europe using "Workaway" in a number of countries to meet and help out locals! We were goat herding in Slovakia, olive picking in Italy and organic farming in the Austrian Mountains. Before we left for the states we were living and working in a beautiful, quaint British country pub to save up for our American adventure.

We're currently in NYC and sadly only have less than a month left of our trip - we've seen so much of the states already and we love it! Using couchsurfing in lots of cities has been the best. We've met some incredible people and feel we've made some really great friends along the way. We can't wait to host once we are back in the UK!

We love spontaneity and try not to get bogged down in the details and stress of making sure things are booked up and planned out - we go with the flow! We think its great when we can meet up with strangers and make new friends instantly, we love helping people out in whatever way we can, from painting and decorating, to cooking and cleaning.

We are hitchhiking/driving/bussing around the US from May to August and quite frankly the size of America is terrifying us! We don't wanna miss out on anything and the best way to learn about the most amazing stuff to see and do would be has been staying with couchsurfers along the way. We'd love for you to show us around if you have the time as we really enjoy seeing the "real" side of your town!

We're not fussy where we sleep, we just need a roof over our heads and then we can all share stories, wine, culture and cuisine together. We're planning a few road trips and if you'd like to tag along we'd be more than happy to give you a ride!

We hitchhiked the whole length of Europe from Germany down to the very bottom of Croatia last Summer, we got stranded the middle of nowhere, almost lost our tent and everything we owned in a flash flood but we pulled through!
