ABOUT ME

I work as a technical project manager in trade fair construction for a Swiss company and I travel a lot for my job and I am always happy when I can share my free time with locals :)

I would say I am open-minded (which is probably the most used word here, but well, I guess there is no better word than that :-)
I like being on the road, do a lot of activities, share good times with others.
I would love to get in touch with different cultures and learn a lot about them.
But at the top of my list is having fun, laughing a lot, meeting different people from different parts of the world and trying out all sorts of culinary specialties in the countryside.

PHILOSOPHY

When the winds of change blows, some build windfences others build windmills.

Caring is sharing.... that`s how i handle life. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is for me, one of the biggest peace-projekts in this world. It shows that over all the different cultures, we are all connected. Couchsurfing taught me that there are no strangers, there are just friends you haven't met until now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i started with surfing on my trip through the US in 2012, now i want to give something back.
In the future, I also want to be a host.
But i work a lot and that all over the world, so is not always easy to be a host.

Interests

I like:
-to do adventure sports like climbing, surfing, mountain biking. (i also like to try new sports)
-to improve my english/spanish/italian.
-to see as much of the world as possible.
-to share stories about my life and my travels and i also like to hear your stories.
-to share good times while traveling.
-to learn how to cook different dishes of different countries.
-to try special food from all over the world.
-to collect tea from all over the world.

and of course i would love to get know a lot of different people from all over the world

I also like singing along to the songs i hear, but you would wish you are not around when I do :-)

Books:
I like to read books about history and the world, I'm a big fan of Hermann Hesse.

Movies/Series:
Breaking Bad, The Vikings, How I met your Mother, Documentation about traveling and different cultures and countries

Music:
I can get into pretty much anything but I usually listen to Rock, Pop, Indie/folk and a bit country

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stand very close next to the nigarafalls
and I could feel the huge forces that cause these water masses.

I visited the zion national park, zion canyon, i took the way to the angels landing, it was a long climb, but the feeling i got on the top of the mountain was amazing.

I have had many great experiences during my travels, but one of the biggest experiences is still getting to know new people and cultures.
