ABOUT ME

I (definitely try to) check this thing often, for starters.

I'm personable and I'm always open to new opinions & views. Meeting new people never hurts! Recently, I've become much more extroverted, though I still spend a lot of time pondering and writing in my head, and it's been amazing. I've met so many generous people recently, and I encourage anyone and everyone to get out of their shells--although there's nothing wrong with a shell, it just needs to be used.

I love meeting people and making friends. I am a thinker and a dose of comedy keeps me going.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Reciprocity - I read my pieces, play instruments, cook, clean, and provide discourse, intellectual or otherwise. Other than that, I like to get to know my hosts and have a good time teaching, learning, and leaving some middle-ground, too.

Right now I'm traveling the US over, so I've been in contact with multiple people, whether I'm hitch-hiking, meeting people at cafes, ride-sharing or surfing.

Though I'm exclusively surfing the site right now, I do give back to communities--given I'm in them long enough--too. I've: been a tutor multiple times, given out food in kitchens and in lines, volunteered in & donated to libraries, and plan on doing more to help communities and environments in general, which is really what it's about--CSers or not, people are people & earth is earth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience is slowly growing and the people I've been in contact with (whether declinations or acceptances) have mostly been really friendly. It's a great way to connect with other people and a way to use technology to our BENEFIT. Like I said above, I'm on here as often as possible to see what's new with my acquaintances.

Interests

Music and reading but I'm not a homebody, per say; adventuring, (indoor) rock climbing and getting out are also really important to me. Specifically, I really like jazz, blues and rock (contemporary and classic), but I like to dabble in and out of styles and there's never enough. Poetry, novels, adventures and nature keep me busy too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Blues, rock, jazz, but really anything I can get my hands on. I watch almost no TV, but I enjoy a movie here and there. I'd much rather play music, read poems or share stories. No need to list here, let's talk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uh, one?! Hmmm, watching city life from atop a roof in downtown San Francisco. Hitching through different places in the southwest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of esoteric knowledge, but I'm strangely bad at trivia. I've been told I'm mechanically inclined and I'm usually good at problem solving. I'm still figuring out the rest.
