About Me

Due to isolation requirements, we're currently not hosting anyone coming from overseas. Anyone coming from overstate is welcome to request, providing you don't have to self-isolate :)

First up CSers: we're not big on clubbing and partying, and thus, this is not a party/clubbing house. If that's your thing, perhaps a hostel is a better way to go.

Secondly: read this profile and the house section. Copy and paste requests will get a flicko into the bin(o).

Ok, so, I think I'm pretty easy going but also energetic - I'm happy to relax but not for too long. I find other peoples' experiences and cultures fascinating. I'm in awe of people who have travelled extensively and have been on some sweet-as adventures (especially if it involves adventure sports).

I'm a sustainable vegan (freegan), an atheist/agnostic (Category 6) and a lover of coffee. If you don't hold some of these same ideals, that's 100% ok. Happy to have a discussion about it. That's how we grow and find balanced ideals, right?

I travelled for almost 2 years in 2015/2016 and had an absolute blast. I met a bunch of incredible people throughout the 24 countries I travelled through and I hope to meet/host some of them again in the future. If you want to check out my stupid face around the parts of the globe, I tried to regularly upload photos to mah instagram:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been very fortunate to surf with some AMAZING people through the CS community and I want to try to give back to that where I can. Practically everyone I've met through it has been a cool cat.

I surfed through Sweden/Denmark on a cycling trip from Stockholm to Copenhagen and a number of Couchsurfing hosts saved my bacon a few times, when it was rainy, dark and not a good night to sleep outside.

Interests

Circus, musical theatre, theatre, coffee, rock climbing, cycling, gaming, boardgames, science, scientific scepticism, anime, manga, comics, rollerskating, hiking, engineering, economics, snowboarding.

I think interests are limited to what you've experienced - I look forward to finding/developing new ones.
