I'm an English teacher who loves travelling and experiencing different cultures. I love food, cooking, reading and playing guitar (I like song-writing as well). My dream would be to be a travel writer; I'm guessing like 99% of people on here, this dream never gets beyond a journal!

I'm living in HCMC until March, then I heading back to the UK via the Trans-Siberian, and I'm going to do a PGCE to become a history teacher.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is an impossible question to answer! I have an elective music taste, but I generally have a preference for music made by people and not computers, especially if it has some emotional resonance.

I love cinema, so am happy to watch just about any movie, and I'm trying to get through all those famous movies you've heard of and never watched.

I really enjoy travel literature, modern classics and old classics, though my guilty pleasure is the acheological thriller genre - it's trash, but it's interesting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a little Chinese or Vietnamese if you want. I am also pretty good at cooking, and would enjoy sharing that! I would love to learn a bit about every country in the world, especially history!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to share funny travel stories, like the time my travel companion got 'caught short' on the Great Wall of China. I would also be delighted to cook some Italian, Mexican or Chinese food for you!
