About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Aiming high.To meet people and learn from the company of others about humility and all that is good in the world. To grow enormous and for my heart to grow ever more tender. I also want to give to those around me and to enjoy every minute of it all.
ABOUT ME
I plan to see lots of the world in search for the key to my soul, and experience general pleasure on a massive scale, be that in the form of special people, a deep fried Mars bar, or something deep inside a wombats nostril. I just got a degree in Fine Art, so I am definately a creative person. I am friendly and easy going and I believe in love, although I know it is a strong substance. I have hope for the world yet
PHILOSOPHY
Improve yourself all the time. If you are happy, you have the power to make many others happy too.
Thought: Comedians are good at making people laugh, but not at making them cry. Maybe this is what makes so many comedians so sad. Tears are also important and they have to hide theirs
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am ready to host people and am considering the possibilities of being a part of a couchsurfing house share in South East London. I plan to take a more active role in couch surfing in 2009 by hosting more people and taking part in and organising meetings
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went interrailing around Europe last summer and I met some fantastic people. Once I went to Charte, a place 2hours from Paris, and I couldn't find the person who was picking me up, there was a mix up, and so I ended up in a hotel where I met a lovely lady who let me stay in her flat. It was a reminder that good people are not hard to find, they are everywhere!

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment I'm reading about 4 books simulataneously, which is becoming quite confusing. I'm getting into an author called milan kundera, reading a love story called Like Water For Chocloate, and reading about artist Francis Alys. Velazquez paintings are very moving. Music is a never ending source of pleasure for most people, and I like any films with a sensitive story line that deals with emotions. I cant stand Hollywood blockbusters! There is more music, books and films than I can ever get though, so I'm constantly seeking nourishment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have fallen in love
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make people laugh and smile and feel welcome. I am an English teacher so I can teach English, obviously. I'd love to learn another language and so would really appreciate a language exchange. I'm a good cook, so maybe I can teach you how to cook a little as I strongly believe in the joys of cooking and all the social effects it has. I can also teach spontaneoous dance moves. Hang on a moment, you cant teach spontaneaity, but I can demonstate my moves at least. I can do a dance called the Lindy Hop, which isnt as geeky as it sounds, it actually brilliant! I would like to learn the saxophone. I also want to learn Spanish, or at least improve. I like sports, so am always willing to give someone a game of something. I can take people around London and be their personal tour guide and show them whats off the beaten track. I think that if you spend enough time around a person, you will learn something anyway.
