ABOUT ME

My friends say that I'm a happy and smiling guy who loves music :) And a bit geeky, I have to admit!
A CSurfer told me I'm a 'Rock'n'Roll gentleman of ideas' and even though I don't really get it, I like the sound of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly host people since the way I travel is usually more with a backpack and a tent... And hosting is a bit like travelling without leaving your home (I think that's how Baudelaire used to describe poetry ;)). I started in 2007 and I've never been able to stop since ^^

So many experiences now, and not a single bad one... Good people, good times ! I'll never forget any of you guys !

Interests

I love playing guitar (acoustic, electric, bass,... anything really!) and I play in bars sometimes with my band.
Of course I love travelling and meeting people. Then comes sport, cinema, reading and... ok, I have to admit I'm somewhat a gamer and I play Starcraft 2, and even though I shouldn't write that here, I feel that honesty is important

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Blues & Rock are definitely my favourites! Jazz-Funk & HardRock too :)
I'm a really big fan of Dire Straits, AC/DC, Gary Moore, -M-, Guns'N Roses, Pink Floyd... & so many others !
Sports: RUGBY!!! I don't play but I support Toulouse's team. Otherwise, I play basket ball and I surf!
Movies: I love going to the cinema and watch cartoons ^_^
Books: Lord of the Rings ! I'm a fan ;) I read a lot of thrillers too...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for 4 months in an orphanage in Argentina with mentally disabled teenagers. I didn't know I could do that kind of stuff and I will never forget this experience... Now, they are my second family and I go back there whenever I can. The people I met there were incredible!!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're coming to Paris, I can give you a couple of tips on how to visit the city and I could probably should you a couple of stuff on the guitar if you'd like!And I'm willing to learn any funny expression you can teach me in your own language!! I already have a couple of phrases in finnish to pick up girls in a VERY weird way LOL. Try to teach me even weirder things, I love it :p
