Overview
About Me
I love learning through experience and am trying to do more of it. I think I've changed a bit over the past couple years, having lived abroad for the first time and seen some new places, met some new types of people, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been doing it for a number of years now and have never had a bad experience. I like to brag that I've hosted surfers 5 different continents! I've surfed around Korea, Japan, China, and Vietnam, the US, and now France.
Overall, I'm here because I'm a humble human just trying to learn a new thing or two!

I founded a film club. Come stay with me and you might get an invitation!
Music: Old and new New Wave, shoegaze, electronica... anything fun or interesting. Current favorites are MIA, Asobi Seksu, The Raveonettes, Sufjan Stevens...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in DC for Barack Obama's inauguration; getting shoved by one of Ban Ki-Moon's bodyguards at the UN; meeting normal Cubans in Cuba; each day living in Korea. UPDATE: Japan was cool too. UPDATE: So was China.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to write your name in Korean...
I enjoy interrogating my guests about their home countries, wherever they may be from. I'm just curious, though, and trying to become a little less ignorant about other countries than I am now.
