About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I must admit, after traveling a few times to different parts of the world. I now have the chronic travel bug symptom. My goal is to visit a country each year that I've never been there before so help me CS!!

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going person. I don't like to plan things when I travel. I used to read books like the Lonely Planet for tips on travelling. Then I realized that it's better to just ask the people once you're there. Certainly having a website like this helps. I enjoy meeting people from different corners of the world. I've recently picked up on photography as a hobby which hopefully will serve me well for my trip to South America and everywhere in between.

PHILOSOPHY

Mi casa es tu casa!
Treat people the way you want to be treated!
Don't judge the book by its cover!
Be like a sponge when you travel, willing to take in and appreciate everything that tickles your senses.
Smile, smile and smile!! The least gift you can give yourself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What's amazing to me might be mediocre to some but some of the things I've done, to me is truly a blessing and I'm thankful to just be alive.
-I sang at my sister's wedding for her first dance. I was nervous beyond imagination but felt quite honored.
-Canyoning in Interlaken, Switzerland.
-Bungy jumping into a lake in Phuket, Thailand.
-Seeing Mt.Fuji for the first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've had the opportunity to travel over the years and the more I travel, the more I want to travel beyond the peripheral of a tourist but to explore the unbeaten path. Outside of the so called touristy areas are the real culture. And to truly experience a culture, you have to be able to adapt. My philosophy when it comes to traveling is to observe and do what the locals do. I enjoy interacting with the local people because they can give you a different perspective which you can't find on TVs or magazines.
