About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to stop wanting to have a mission.
ABOUT ME
I just graduated from college after studying for an eternity. Hoping to get some new ideas for the future while traveling.
In general I think I am a friendly, sociable person, mostly open minded and up for fun. I like hanging out with friends, going to shows, going to movies and having interesting conversations (without forcing my opinion upon other people).
There are also moments where I just need time and room for myself and I think that is probably the same for everyone. That is why respecting personal privacy and not expecting to be entertained and taken care of the whole time, is something essential to me, when it comes to couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: Napoleon Dynamite, Little Miss Sunshine, Eraserhead, The Godfather, Inglourious Basterds, just about any zombie movie
shows: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Twin Peaks, The Wire, Carnivàle, The Sopranos, True Blood
music: pretty much everything from Classical to Breakcore... Amongst the artists I particularly enjoy are Animal Collective, Ludwig van Beethoven, Bob Dylan, DJ Koze, James Blake, Bauhaus, Bon Iver, Nicolas Jaar, Beastie Boys, Amon Tobin, Sonic Youth, Venetian Snares, Johnny Cash, Aphex Twin, Portishead, Burial, Jon Hopkins, Nirvana, The Moldy Peaches, Madlib, The Knife, Dabrye, Wu-Tang Clan, Maria Callas, Scuba, Dead Kennedys, CocoRosie, J. S. Bach, Dj Krush, Ruth Etting, Shackleton, The Beatles
books: some of my friends say that I read a lot but I often feel like there are way too many books still to be read. I am interested in everything that helps analyze and criticize society, first of all Marx, but also Adorno or Freud. Authors of fiction I read and enjoyed in the last couple years include Umberto Eco, Luther Blissett, D. F. Wallace, Wolfgang Herrndorf
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experiencing parts of nature that are very different to what I am used to has a huge potential to amaze me. I also get excited when people come together to organize, whether it be a DIY free party or a political protest.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a curious person and I can take an interest in a lot of different things. I have almost no idea when it comes to natural sciences and I would like to change that. In exchange I can offer some knowledge of languages and of society that I am very much willing to share.
